The Ksar of Aït Ben Haddou (Tamazight: ⴰⵢⵜ ⵃⴰⴷⴷⵓ, Ath Benhadu) is a ksar or "fortified town" in Morocco located in the Ouarzazate Province in the Drâa-Tafilalet region.[1] It stretches along the Ounila River. Most of the town's residents live in the new village across the river, but a few families still live in the ksar.
